Who We Are
Southon is a Victorian building business with a long history of delivering well-built, practical structures. The Southon family has been building since 1964, with experience spanning residential homes, commercial projects, renovations, and specialist builds across regional Victoria.
Today, Southon operates across two closely aligned areas of work:
Southon We Build, delivering traditional building projects such as homes, renovations, additions, decks, ramps, fencing and landscaping; and Southon Tiny Homes, designing and building high-quality tiny homes, secondary dwellings and small buildings.
Southon builds both small and traditional homes using quality Australian materials, including structural timber, steel and hardware selected for durability and performance. Whether constructing a family home, a renovation, or a carefully designed small dwelling, the focus remains on fit-for-purpose design and long-term reliability.
